CCF Halloween opening scene

Chicken and the other Cartoon Cartoons in the opening segment.

Cartoon Cartoon Fridays Halloween Party was a special Halloween-themed edition of Cartoon Network's weekly programming block Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, and was later re-aired in October 26, 2001.

Between each of the shows broadcast, segments were presented, in which the Cartoon Cartoon characters dress up as each other. When suddenly, the party gets interrupted by a mysterious guest as the lights turns off in the CCF set.

Segments[]

  • The opening segment features Chicken from Cow & Chicken welcoming the viewer to Cartoon Cartoon Friday's Halloween Party.
  • Chicken announces that the .Com Pick is coming up after the break. He and Eustace have an argument and Blossom tells them to stop.
  • Chicken from Cow & Chicken is shown acting as Johnny Bravo while Powerpuff Girls, dressed as the Eds, give them jawbreakers.
  • The Mayor and I.M. Weasel, dressed as Ms. Bellum and Dexter, welcome the viewers back to the party, saying they're just in time for bobbing for apples. However, it is then revealed they're actually using onions instead.
  • Chicken and Johnny scoff that the party isn't very scary when suddenly the lights go out.
  • Professor tells anyone to stay calm while he and Dexter work on fixing the lights. The television monitors briefly go out, after which the mystery guest who shut off the lights makes his presence known.
  • Chicken finds a flashlight, but its batteries run out. The Mayor then asks the mystery guest what exactly he wants from them, and the guest answers that he just wants to come in and bob for apples with them.
  • The characters bring the mystery guest down to bob for apples (with him unaware that they're really onions). He says he'll turn the lights back on if they let him announce the last show for the evening. After he announces, Chicken remarks that his voice sounds familiar, but the guest denies.
  • The mystery guest is revealed to be Aquaman (the Superfriends version), and Chicken tells him he's not invited because he's not a Cartoon Cartoon character. The broadcast ends with the characters telling the viewers to tune in next week and wishing Happy Halloween.
